Introduction

Established in 1990 in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Acadia University, the Statistical Consulting Centre provides free statistical advice to Acadia University students. The Centre addresses problems from Acadia faculty, staff and students. We welcome government, business industry, and scientific communities for research project collaboration, and experiential learning education. Our work is carried out by experienced faculty consultants. Our location allows us to draw upon abundant resources, which include over 15 faculty members and a strong student basis who have access to excellent research facilities.

The incorporation of statistical principles into the design stage of your experiment or survey provides assurance of a sound strategy for data collection. This may well save time and money, simplify your analysis, and ultimately lead to much more clearly defined conclusions. We would be pleased to assist you! Just contact us for an appointment.
